Abstract

The Museum of Natural History of Rio Seco is a museum that works on the logic of displacement and differential work regarding what traditionally operates as a museum. It is outside the traditional logics of conservation and restoration, where conservation and restoration should do with the recombination of objects, rather than with a prophylactic operation on the object body preventing it from encoding the passage of time. An operation like the one mentioned is only possible, thanks to a notion of time that understands that the time is not linear, homogeneous and empty, but that it is plethora of all the possible times, must assume that the museum is not only a redoubt where to deposit objects Important, but it is a place with the capacity to generate narratives and speeches, on how to control, manage and act; last.
